- The Prayer: Perform two rakat of voluntary prayer, following the standard sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ). Recite Surah al-Fatihah and additional verses from the Quran, focusing on verses that speak of Allah’s mercy, blessings, and guidance.
- Supplication: After the prayer, raise your hands in supplication and recite the following dua:
“O Allah, I seek Your guidance in my matter. I am weak and You are Strong. I am ignorant and You are All-Knowing. You are the Knower of the unseen. O Allah, if You know that this matter (mention your specific request) is good for me in my religion, my worldly life, and my Hereafter, then make it easy for me to obtain it and grant me Your blessings in it.
